Major International Assignment Awarded To Robert Blitz Consulting

Robert Blitz Consulting (RBC) has been engaged to perform various services on a major international water concession. RBC will perform due diligence, project concession profitability analysis, and risk and opportunity identification. Also provided will be proposal services and terms and condition formulation and review. The approximate value of the concession is in the $250 Million to $300 Million range.

Robert Blitz Consulting Nears First International Assignment

Robert Blitz of Robert Blitz Consulting (RBC) announced that the growing firm is close to securing its first international engagement.  Due to confidentiality, the client and exact nature of the assignment is not able to be disclosed at this time.

Blitz stated that the assignment requires the highest technical and business consulting skills of the firm.  The scope of the project is major for any firm in the client’s industry, perhaps a once in a decade project.

Robert Blitz Consulting: 2010 Results

The consulting firm Robert Blitz Consulting which specializes in financial and strategic consulting services for the architecture, engineering and construction industry completed its first 8 months with the end of the 2010 calendar year.

Robert Blitz, the principal of the firm, announced that the firm met all of its financial and growth goals for 2010.  Blitz, a 20 year veteran of the AE&C industry has years of senior level experience with leading AE&C firms across all functional areas.  Particular sector strengths are in environmental consulting, environmental remediation, water/wastewater and construction services.

Leveraging a large network of former colleagues, Robert Blitz Consulting has made a profit in its first 8 months of existence.  According to Blitz, multiple client engagements are in the works and 2011 goals are primed to be reached.

Budgeting & Strategic Plan Assignment Concluded

RBC completed a two month assignment to develop budget tools, processes and analysis to a rapidly growing, privately held firm.

The assignment involved creating a budget tool that is customized to the firm’s industry and organization as well as training the firm’s personnel in its use.

A large degree of the assignment focused on the inclusion of analytic tools that allow management to see out several years and understand the degree to which backlog and new, unidentified business drives their long range strategic plan.

The budget package also directly feeds into a Microsoft ERP system as well as providing Board Package materials.

Robert Blitz Consulting’s Business Capture Services Result In $40M Award

Robert Blitz Consulting’s  first engagement to provide business capture services has resulted in an award for an emerging water/wastewater company.  A contract with a value of up to $40 Million was awarded to RBC’s client and is their most significant services win to date.  The competition included a long-term incumbent as well as leading water/wastewater service providers with a national and international footprint.

 

RBC provided business capture strategy and proposal writing services.

Robert Blitz Consulting Finalizing Substantial First Assignment

Robert Blitz Consulting (RBC) is in the final stages of negotiating a substantial, first consulting agreement. RBC specializes in strategic planning, turnarounds, business development and business analysis for the water and wastewater industry and the AE&C Industry.

RBC was founded by Robert Blitz, a veteran of major firms such as Ebasco Services, Inc., Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Fluor, Earth Tech and Southwest Water Company.

Blitz left Southwest Water company to focus on providing customized solutions to customers utilizing his broad depth of experience in the industry.

Robert Blitz Forms Robert Blitz Consulting, Leaves Southwest Water Company

Robert Blitz announced that he has left Southwest Water Company. Blitz was the Director of Finance for the Operations and Maintenance Business Segment of Southwest Water Company as well as for their Alabama and Mississippi utilities.  Blitz also was the Managing Director of Colorado.  Blitz stated that he left to pursue other opportunities after having led a turnaround of the business segment along with Mark Minter (former Managing Director).  Minter also left the company within the past month.

Blitz announced that he is evaluating several options, all of which involve working at a senior level within the AE&C/Water industries. While evaluating options, Blitz has opened Robert Blitz Consulting to provide tailored solutions to the industry. The new firm will specialize in turnarounds, strategic planning and business development.

Prior to joining Southwest Water Company in 2008, Blitz spent over 20 years at senior level at engineering and construction firms such as Earth Tech (then a Tyco company and now part of AECOM), Fluor, Raytheon Engineers & Constructors and Ebasco Services.
